The Chilean poet and songwriter Sergio Campos Moncada and the Norwegian pianist and composer Arne K Rødvik started working together in autumn 2013, to develop the project"Con tanta entrega" (with so much compassion). This project is based on 10 unpublished love poems written by Sergio to which Arne has composed music. Hundreds of liters of coffee and tons of biscuits have been consumed while Arne and Sergio have been sitting in the garage loft of Sergio working on the project. Sergio recites his own poems in this CD recording. He was born in Valparaiso, Chile, in 1959 and moved to Norway in 1986. He has conducted extensive cultural activities in the Chilean community in Oslo ever since, and founded the Chilean house of culture of Oslo in 1994. Sergio has written song lyrics, shortstories and books, as well as poems. Arne Kirkhorn Rødvik is the composer and arranger, and he plays keyboards and accordion on this CD. He was born in 1967, and grew up by the shores of the deepest lake in Europe, Hornindalsvatnet, Norway. He has been active on the music scene in Oslo, for more than 20 years, mostly in latin American music, but also in other genres within the world music concept. He has participated as a musician, arranger and composer in several CD-recordings.Sergio's poems and Arne's music were recorded with the band Qi.for:iche (a pun for"Why not?"), in Neby studio in Oslo in January 2015.
