Making his fifth appearance on Stories In Trance, it is a privilege to once again introduce Sweden's finest Gustaf Westin with his Airborne Angel. This is Perfect State. Airborne Angel will forever be special to Stories In Trance, as his massive track Apollo launched the label all the way back in summer 2010. Since then his productions on the label have been nothing short of stunning, serving up critically acclaimed tracks in Desire (SIT #6), Time & Space (SIT #11) and Belt Of Orion (SIT #19) and once again he comes through with a masterpiece of trance. This is an epic from start to finish, with his instantly recognisable feel and bassline combined to maximum effect with an infectious lead melody making this one fit to grace any set. We are proud to work with Gustaf so regularly and with quality like this it's easy to see why. On remixes this time, firstly we have the third appearance on Stories In Trance from talented Hungarians Forenetix (Garry SJ & Peter) with this sublime version. Fresh from their recent remixes of spArk's Clouds Come (SIT #17) and Derrick Meyer's Final Goodbye (SIT #23) they hit the mark once again with this excellent rethink, staying quite close to the original's flowing lines and melody but adding depth, some well thought out layering and an epic break to the mix to create a well produced alternative. And finishing up proceedings is Russian Paul Olive with his more progressive reinterpretation. Having made a previous appearance on Stories In Trance way back in early 2011 with his well received remix of Max Fishler's The Skyshard (SIT #5) he returns with this inventive, tightly produced version.Stories In Trance aims to uncover the most talented and imaginative new producers and team up with some of the more established names in the scene to work together in evolving the sound. This release sticks firmly to our philosophy of not only showcasing a diverse range of sounds within trance, but also offering balanced releases by seeking out those that can interpret the original in a different way. As our story continues, we hope that you enjoy our twenty-fourth release! Kind regards and happy days!Matt Carter / Thomas CarterStories In Trance
