After various music projects and three solo albums, Brian Rattiner formed the band NIGHT with bassist Jonathan Zarkower, and drummer Scott Laughlin. Here you can notice his pared-down song writing backed with the skilled musicianship of Zarkower and Laughlin, which together creates a powerfully melodic, and sometimes heavy, unique sound. The quality of the recording, produced by Michael Prochilo, is higher and cleaner than in Rattiners' previous works.
