After 28 years in professional wrestling, many years singing with his parents, and two years with the band Revolution of Righteousness, singer/songwriter Michael A. Rhodes finally has completed a solo project. The new album is entitled"Labor of Love." The title song is in tribute to his parents, the late Rev. J. Carrol Rhodes and Barbara Rhodes, who spent almost 50 years in the ministry.Labor, the first release from the project, is descriptive of his father's desire to reach the lost."Dad's gone to be with the Lord, and Mom's retired, so it's left up to the rest of our family to carry on the work."Michael was married to Kathy (32 years), and the couple have four children and 3.5 grandchildren. Michael passed one week after completing the album.
