"He is a dork, but his music is not bad." That's the common reaction most listeners have when hearing Joseph Currency. His ability to take any mundane topic and turn it into a full song is unparalleled. On his third record,"The Album Drop," J$ goes from his experience of being sober at a house party to chronicling the life of Mario (the video game plumber, not Lopez) in a tidy four minutes. With a raw, easily-accessible style, Joseph Currency (real name Joey Held) invites all listeners to join him for what's sure to be one heck of a ride.
