When I was little I wanted to be an actress but through sheer stubbornness, and to impress my dad, I trained as an aeronautical engineer before becoming an aircraft maintenance engineer, a teacher, a cruise ship risk analyst and a mother of 3 Children! Still unsure of what I want to be when I grow up, I have become a singer songwriter and immersed into a world of madness full of utterly endearing people. Who knows? I might just stick at this one! Writing and recording this album has been like putting all my favourite things into one box. It reflects the last 12 months when I have had a wonderful time taking my songs to various places since I launched my last album (Dinner for Two) in 2013.Some of the highlights of 2014 have been playing with Don Francisco in Colorado as well as being a guest on Radio Denver. The Cambridge folk festival was fun as was writing a song and performing it for the 50th Birthdays of the Sea Vixen and the Red Arrows. I loved my tour of folk clubs in Wales along with Carnivals in Swanage and Winton, although the local folk clubs in the Bournemouth area continue to be where I feel most at home.
