This album is back to grassroots recording for me. I hunkered down in my room with a painfully simple recording set up. I used GarageBand as my recording program, with a RODE NT-1A mic and a simple four track mixing board, using the 1/8" audio input on my laptop from the RCA outs on the mixer. Nerd talk, I know. But the point of this CD was to keep it truely about the song, with minimal production behind it. Each take on each track was one pass, instead of punching in and assembling tracks. All vocals were left as / is, without auto-tune.
