In the many years My Lady Jo and I have made music together she's been singing a lot of back ups to my various bands and songs. In the last number of years she's stolen a few songs and once she steals a song from me it's hard for me to take it back since I think she has a wonderful voice. In the last couple years I've been specifically writing for her to be the primary vocalist and this collection of songs is the first effort of My Lady Jo as the lead vocalist. I still get to sing a couple on this album and I play my flute around her lovely voice but I really want the world to hear her tell my stories. The group we have supporting us on this album consists of a fine array of talent from The Tampa Bay area with years of experience and unique angles to forming these songs. I hope you find them enjoyable and interesting while also giving you a chance to move your feet to the beat while you think about the stories. Hopefully these songs will move you like they move us.
