Sound & Spirit is the 2000 debut recording of instrumental guitarist Peter Biedermann. The music is entirely original and features a number of new solo acoustic finger style pieces (Aquarian Flow, Sound & Spirit, Traveling In Light, Saturated and Promised Land) and others written in the late 80's (Plato's Academy, The Muse and CD) on six and twelve string guitars in unique open tunings. The opening (...Invocation) and closing track (Resolution...) utilize electronic ambient soundscapes via looping and textural soloing.
