A troubadour who sang of longing and love: René Carol, who inspired millions with his voice and who received the first"Golden Record" of the German post-war era for his song"Red Roses, Red Lips, Red Wine". For ten years René Carols dominated the charts of the young Federal Republic of Germany, after 1960 his star began to sink. In his hayday years, however literally everyone knew his name. And until today - more than 40 years after his death, the number of his admirers is still great. This new album includes René Carol into the long line of stars that brought the music to Germany in the years of the"economic miracle".
