Straight Up is a Christian band with a southern rock feel and sound. The band is an eclectic mix of seasoned musicians that draws on its 60s, 70s and 80s rock generation roots, finding inspiration for their sound and style in the likes of Lynyrd Skynyrd, Bad Company and others. The band members ("God's rowdies") feel God is leading them to get the message of Christ to an older generation.
