Lucky is a 22 year old Pop/R&B singer from Minnesota. Being born a first generation American in his family, many of his works are influenced by both western and eastern music. Growing up with a sister who listened to mostly Hip-Hop and R&B, a brother rocking out to Metal, and parents to folk music of Southeast Asia, Lucky has acquired a very eclectic taste in music.During his High School years, Lucky had joined their choir which had inadvertently heightened his interest towards music. It was during those years when Lucky found out that he very much enjoyed singing. In 2009 he bought his first midi keyboard which he spent hours teaching himself music theory and how to play the keyboard. As time went on Lucky began to dabble into production making beats off a free digital audio workstation software called LMMS. Recording off of a USB karaoke microphone, he was producing plenty of poor quality mixes that were instrumental to improving his skills.Years went on and Lucky had learned the guitar and drums, now producing compositions with FL Studios. He had been acting and performing in many musicals at the local theatre company picking up a deep fondness to the music of Broadway, Jazz, and Blues. After dozens of covers and unfortunate mixes, Lucky has finally decided to work on his first LP/EP in late 2017 which will be produced, written, and performed by himself!
