I wanted this song to feel as live, simple and direct as possible so there is only one guitar with the rhythmic section and a spoken, almost rapped, passage instead of the usual guitar solo. The lyrics are not to be taken seriously and play with the often used blues metaphors. I love the musical comments full of humor"The New York Brass" section often make to the lyrics. A cool and groovy tune.
