Ensamble 7/4 is a Venezuelan Latin Orchestra formed by 7 players: 4 Trumpets, Baby Bass, Cuatro ( Ukulele like Guitar) and Drums. They met while playing in the"Sistema Nacional de Orquestas Juveniles e infantiles de Venezuela" which is a renown national children orchestra conservatory. They have been able to travel around the world performing with jazz leyends like: James Morrison, Thomas Gansch, Allen Vizzutti, Francisco"Pacho" Flores, Arturo Sandoval, Herbie Hancock, Andrea Toffaneli, Rex Richardson, Joe Burgsteller, Dudamel, and Jose Antonio Abreu among others.The new album"Welcome to America" is a tribute to some of the greatest american artists and their music. Its a fresh and creative Orchestral approach to these famous and beautiful melodies, played with latino flavours of mixed drum rhythms and caribbean soul.
