Torgo! is geek rock. Choose Your Own adventure is a concept album. We are 5 guys from the tiny, western, halfway town of Amarillo, Texas. With this album, we have attempted to take every one of our favourite elements of Indie rock and 70's progressive rock, combining them all to forge a sonic image that represents the nostalgia of a specific moment of our childhood: the late 80's and early 90's computer and video game world. Choose Your Own Adventure represents the naivety, purity, and excitement of a time, now lost, when everything was an adventure and nothing could get in the way of enjoying a warm bowl of mac and cheese while enjoying your favourite games on a clunky old computer or a classic console with your best friends. This album is at times epic, at times child-like with wonder, and (hopefully) always nostalgiac.
