Vidaloca and Piem take us for a sleek, nocturnal ride, setting the tone properly with the percussion-laden title track which opts for a more dubby approach and makes the difference with traditional horns bursting about every once in a while. The subliminal Hold Ya Head is up next with a definite more afterhours feel backed up by the sparse arrangement and chopped up spoken word samples. The closing Wannabe is a completely different story, employing a sleazy bassline to get things moving and a retro-sounding rhythm section. A soulful vocal reminds us of the title while we get introduced to more old-school madness in the form of powerful chords.
