Underwater Country Club is the the brain child of brothers Skip and Andrew Robinson. Inspired by bands such as Dr. Dog and the Wallflowers, the brothers have generated a sound and style of uniquely catchy pop music. The brothers began playing together from a young age, with Skip (James) Robinson on drums, and Andrew on guitar. After graduating from college, Andrew moved to Philadelphia, where Skip was attending Temple University. It was here the boys made there most significant strides as a band. Moving into the artistic community of West Philadelphia, the boys partnered up with players Jack Crawford, and Anthony Coppa. The foursome lived in a house together where they collaboratively wrote, practiced, played, and shared creative influences. It was in this house that much of the record"I Loved Every Minute Of You Hating"It was composed and arranged. With a rigorous practice schedule, and limited distractions, the boys made a name for themselves with blowout shows in Philadelphia and New York City.
