Fresh and inviting, Logan Smith is an up and coming singer-songwriter grabbing the attention of the world around him. With a soulful maturity and melodic expertise, Logan presents himself as much older than his young age of nineteen. Drawing from the influences of artists such as Sara Bareilles, Stephen Day, and Daniel Caesar, Logan does not shy from pop-rock, and puts forth a bold musical presence that insists on being noticed. However, knowing that sometimes beauty is present in simplicity, he gives into slower ballads of love and sensuality when desired. Growing up in church, his gospel influences can be heard in the progression of many of his songs. Always surrounded by music, Logan first began writing songs in elementary school after learning piano. Passion pushing him forwards, he later learned the guitar and the drums. With a love for the art of music, musical theatre became a form of expression for Logan in high school. Impressively, Logan’s vocal talent and drive led him to win a spot as a 2017 Young Arts Musical Theatre Finalist. The influence of theatre on Logan is especially prevalent in his songwriting, where storytelling is key.Logan Smith’s first single, “Let’s Talk of Nothing,” is the precursor to the EP, “What If.” This past year and the present have seen Logan perfecting and polishing his music, in the excitement of sharing his work with others.
