Drugs in the Alley is an alternative indie band from Long Beach, California formed in 2015. Their upbeat, original music will have you bobbing your head to a new sound that inspires a feeling of both nostalgia, and a refreshing sense of discovery. Above all, their performance reflects the enjoyment of sharing their music. They are releasing their first album June 2017 and will tour following the release.Julio Sanchez on bass, Javier Martinez on guitar, Andrew Matthews as drums and vocals, Jonathan Valle on guitar, Bryan Aranda as lead vocals and Edgar Sanchez as percussion and vocals.The inspiration to their music is rooted in each member’s musical experience with indie, psychedelic rock, rock en espanol, and funk. They have experience of performing at well-known local venues such as DiPiazza, Que Sera, Cuban Pete’s, Federal Underground, and Alex’s Bar and have had several shows in the greater Los Angeles area at The Airliner, Trip Bar, and Whiskey a Go Go.
