I wrote this song for my sweetheart. I wanted to write something that would make her feel like she was the most special girl in the world to me. One day I started singing to her and the first verse came to me;"When I first met you, I knew from the start. That I would love you forever, with all of my heart. And now it's very plain to see, that you're the best thing that ever happened to me, I'm the luckiest guy in the world to have a girl like you." She loved it and truly feels like she is the most special girl in the world to me. So this is how the song came about. It is simple, catchy and has a Country/Pop sound to it. I want to share this song with all of the other guys out there that feel like they are the"luckiest guy" in the world!
