The nineteenth release on Stories In Trance is the fourth release on our label from ultra talented Swedish producer Gustaf Westin, once again under his Airborne Angel guise. This is Belt Of Orion. Having kicked things off for Stories In Trance all the way back in the summer of 2010 with the massive Apollo (SIT #1), and then followed up with the floor fillers Desire (SIT #6) and Time & Space (SIT #11), Airborne Angel is back on Stories In Trance with another piece of pure brilliance. This time out, Gustaf perfectly demonstrates the range of his talent and takes us down a darker emotive route with Belt Of Orion, expertly combining his characterised top level production techniques with a beautifully delicate lead melody, some stunning subtle movement within, and a truly epic break, all of which completes a massively definitive track fit for any set. In addition to the original, Gustaf offers up a different take on his own track with the Airborne Angel remix. The same beautifully epic break and aggressive feel is given a more progressive edge, leaving us with a different flavour for this equally potent version. On remix duty this time we have alternate interpretations from Italian Soundwave (Adrian Iamandei) and Lithuanian White Motion (Rytis Gedvilas). First is Soundwave's Classic Remix. On the back of his previous track under the moniker Wonderful Feeling with Beyond The Truth on Blue Soho, Adrian clearly believes in powerful uplifting productions and again there is no holding back on this one, as he really opens up, pure pace and power without sacrificing any of the strength in the lead melody leaving us with an energetic old school trance offering. And last but by no means least is the White Motion Remix. UK based Rytis Gedvilas returns to Stories In Trance after his acclaimed debut with us, superbly remixing DJ Faisi's You & Me (SIT #12) and once again he doesn't disappoint as this is his best work yet, serving up an expertly produced rethink of the original, subtly restructuring the layers which shifts the focus of the track more towards its strength in depth and building up to a excellent post break climax. Stories In Trance aims to uncover the most talented and imaginative new producers and team up with some of the more established names in the scene to work together in evolving the sound. This release sticks firmly to our philosophy of not only showcasing a diverse range of sounds within trance, but also offering balanced releases by seeking out those that can interpret the original in a different way. As our story continues, we hope that you enjoy our nineteenth release! Kind regards and happy days!Matt Carter / Thomas CarterStories In Trance
