In 1984, fresh out of high school and starting college studying to be a minister, Tony Lee Frost prayed a very naive but sincere prayer asking for"special insight into life, death, love, people and God". Be careful what you ask for! Within a week he was diagnosed with Leukemia, given as little as three months to live and started a journey through experimental treatments, bone marrow transplant and an experience filled with - amongst many other things - life, death, love, people and God. Over the years he has written dozens of songs, recorded several albums, and toured giving testimonial concerts. He has worked in the ministry and as a musician/singer/songwriter/keyboardist and speaker, Western artist and Hand Engraver. His life has been a constant and ongoing education and, while taking in pride in being a survivor and overcoming some seemingly insurmountable obstacles, he also gives all of the credit to his Creator. This album is his latest work and, with the exception of the National Anthem, is a compilation of songs written from his experiences and passions. The National Anthem is Tony's dedication to all of the men and women who have offered their services to the preservation of liberty, freedom and the protection of the Constitution of the United States. Tony thanks his good friend Dan Blunck for playing sax, flute and harmonica. All songs except the National Anthem were written, arranged and recorded by Tony. All music, aside from Dan's sax, flute and harmonica, was played by Tony.
