Stan Toval and The Messenger’s of Jazz are at it again. Stan after brainstorming song ideas with some of his musician friends a Theme and CD title was born “SPREAD THE LOVE”. There are twenty (20) songs in combinations of Smooth Jazz Instrumentals; R&B, Hip Hop and Gospel flavors on this CD. By having so many diversified musicians on this project a variety of new sounds emerged taking you on a ride of your life. Stan soloed instruments on some of his tracks that are normally found performing classical pieces. By using this ventured approach those new musical flavors on this CD were formed. Implementing dedicated arrangements with smooth floating rhythms loosely constructed raising the bar beyond familiar boundaries, which I think, everyone should experience the dynamics of his cross-genre style of music. This is a fantastic style of music for once you are caught, you are caught. The music will not let you go. The songs are deep in their expressions. True feelings were employed for this project. A lot of Africa’s emotional rhythms influenced the sounds and feelings on this project also. It was like talking to the Holy Spirit in the music studio. Stan was divinely motivated to play those sounds and rhythms that we now listen to in one completed composition(s). I hope each of you who listen to this CD take The Ride To The Next Dimension.
