He is also influenced by the folk music of Eastern Europe having lived for a period in the Czech Republic. Having a French mother exposed him to chanson and Mediterranean culture. In the 90's, he was part of the Welsh underground music scene in the eclectic folk-punk band 'The Space Raiders'. His acoustic soundtrack album ‘This is Music for films’ has been lauded by the specialist North American guitar site Delta Slider and is going to be the soundtrack for a DVD about the forests of Spain. A renowned Hollywood sound engineer, who worked on Chet Baker's 'Let's get Lost' album, described Will McCarthy´s guitar-work as" original, eclectic and virtuoso...there is real poetry in his playing."Nuno Alves (Portugal) studied Jazz at a conservatory for over a decade and then studied and specialized in Jazz, Latin, improvisation and world music. He supported George Clinton at a Funk festival in Italy and played with Chambao in Amsterdam. He has played trumpet on a number of soundtracks, most recently for the award-winning film 'Bestezuelas´, set in Valencia and which opened La Mostra film festival 2010. Alves is a highly original and open-minded trumpet player who a Spanish poet described as"having the sound and soul of a clown that is happy and sad at the same time, it is a sound that comes from within."Abdel Louzari (Morocco) is a superb multi-instrumentalist and singer who plays darbuka, violin, oud and more. Admired in Spain for the purity of his musicianship, he has played in festivals in Italy, Spain, Portugal, Switzerland and in North Africa. He has played violin on soundtracks ‘Mi vida en ruinas’ and ‘Torres de Babel’ and teaches Arabic percussion.
