Revived and recreated since her Minervah days, Montreal's pop/soul songstress Signe (Se-na) has released a five song EP sampling from her upcoming solo album"Beside Myself". Signe possesses a soulful, sensitive voice and she teases us with her mix of power and inherent vulnerability during every vocal performance. She successfully couples excellent vocals with catchy songs that are written candidly, sincerely – and with purpose. “Never Far”, a fairy-tale-esque song included on the EP, was written in dedication to Jonny Kennedy (Visit www.debra.org.uk), and will be used in upcoming fund-raising initiatives. “Last Standing” is dedicated to family and close friends that have been afflicted by cancer. Signe seeks greater fulfillment in music than money or fame could ever offer; and she will achieve it through using her gifts directly to help others. All tracks were produced by Arijit (Jit) Bhattacharya, a Montreal producer with an impressive track record, and a musical Midas touch.
