Since 2005, Ringler has been writing and recording songs that feature his observations on a myriad array of topics, including family, friends, personal loss, life, etc. With ten albums of songs regularly being listened to on internet and community radio stations around the globe, Ringler has become a fan favorite. One of his songs,"In Their Own Write", was composed and recorded at the request of a NYC author, with the song, approved of and applauded by Sid Bernstein ( the man who brought The Beatles to NYC), originally included as a bonus disc in that author's then newly released book of the same title. Other songs have been featured on charity CD's in the UK, and an early album was even positively received by Clive Davis. Perhaps Ringler's most thrilling moment came when a song he had written and recorded for Jon Anderson of the band YES, was listened to by Jon, with a follow-up email of thanks and appreciation sent to him by Mr. Anderson himself. With his newest song,"Now I'm 64 (To Paul)", Ringler reflects upon his own life after having reached that age, resulting in a Beatlesque, reflective tune that responds to some of the many questions McCartney asked in the song"When I'm 64" fifty years ago.As with all of his music, Ringler plays all instruments, sings all vocals, and records everything in his home studio. He hopes that you will enjoy his new song, and he thanks you for your ever-present support.***Please note: This song is dedicated to the memory of James Paul Dicks, the late son of my friend Pete Dicks, the man who was the very first radio show host to play my music on the air back in 2006, via his wonderful UK Beatlesandbeyond radio show. Since that time he has played many more of my songs, and has become one of my dear friends. Sadly, Pete's amazing son James, who bravely battled a brain tumor for the past few years, lost that battle and passed away a short time ago.
