Jasper Sloan Yip released his first album, White Elephant, in July of 2007 under the moniker the Blenheim Street Project. Three days later he left on a backpacking trip that spanned ten months, fourteen countries, and three continents. All the while, he stockpiled lyrics, melodies, and, most importantly, experiences that would become the backbone of his next album, Every Day and All at Once. After returning to Vancouver, wide-eyed and tired, Jasper began playing the local stages, building a small reputation. Over the next two years, Jasper wrote constantly and acquired a full band. In September of 2009, Jasper and his band spent three weeks at Vertical Studios in Vancouver, Canada, under the guidance of producer Tom Dobrzanski (Said the Whale, Hey Ocean!, We Are the City) and recorded Every Day and All at Once. By December of 2009, the album was already receiving play on CBC Radio 2 and 3 and critical acclaim from those who found it. The album was released on March 6th, 2010.
