Eamon Bode is a faceless Irish singer/songwriter easily recognisable by his ever-raised, over-sized hood. Having spent 2012 living in Leitrim writing and recording a new collection of songs, 2013 brings Eamon’s debut EP, 'Tinman' - a first taste of the fruit of that labour. The songs are private, lyrically-driven specimens of an ambient kind of Indie Folk that brings to mind the sincerity of Elliot Smith and the lyrical craft of Trent Reznor. After a good response to his first song-launch into cyberspace ('Through the Noise') Eamon has recently started to play a few small gigs and busk around Dublin. A stroll down Grafton street will often find him playing outside the now defunct HMV. In an effort to get to know his audience Eamon busks with 2 trays for spare change, each headed by a sign offering people a choice - a public poll of sorts. At the end of the day, the tray with the most money tells him something about his listeners. The Tinman EP reflects this honest and unpretentious spirit with its frank lyrics and well-crafted melodies.
