The New England Days - EP is a tribute to the artist and music of Clifford T Ward. Clifford Thomas Ward (1944 – 2001) was a popular English singer-songwriter, best known for his career as a solo artist. His most creative years were during the mid-1970s, when such songs as Home Thoughts From Abroad and Gaye brought commercial success and critical accolades. Throughout my childhood I was introduced to Cliff’s music; listening to his music at home on lazy Sunday afternoons and also at the live music conventions held in Kidderminster, where I was lucky enough to meet the man himself. As a both a singer and pianist I wanted to preserve Cliff’s music for the future generations. Therefore, I began to arrange and notate a number of his songs that were never published for piano, voice and guitar. Over the past two years I have enjoyed spending time in the studio recording the New England Days EP and hope you enjoy my interpretation of Clifford T Ward's music.
