Formed in 1996, The GW Pitches are proud to be the first all-female a cappella group at The George Washington University. This entirely student-run organization is composed of women with a variety of talents, interests, and backgrounds. Their repertoire ranges from classic bands, like The Beatles, to modern artists, like Jason Mraz, to their all-time favorite Sara Bareilles. They are very active in D.C. and GW communities— whether they’re singing in their Fall or Spring concerts, putting on gigs, producing their biennial CD, appearing on Voice of America, or serenading Michelle Obama at the White House. The GW Pitches have a passion for music and performance!
