It is the fourth collaboration between Roy Lessin and Jonathan Urie. Here is the true story of how Roy Lessin and Jonathan Urie connected.In 2004....on the Thursday before Good Friday I received an Easter message from DaySpring on my computer. It was a poem by a person named Roy Lessin. I loved the poem HE SAW YOU and was deeply moved by it. Immediately I believed I could write music to the poem and followed the urging of the Holy Spirit to contact DaySpring and find out who this ROY LESSIN was. After finding the phone number on the DaySpring website I called. It was late in the afternoon and to my surprise a man answered the phone. I discovered that the staff had left early for Easter but the gentleman suggested that perhaps he could be of help. I explained my reason for calling and asked about Roy Lessin. I was surprised to find that I was talking to Joe Lessin and that Roy was his dad. Joe kindly offered to pass my request on to Roy and assured my that his dad would contact me the following week. I did get an email from Roy. He agreed to let me create a melody for HE SAW YOU. It happened and he gracefully expressed his delight with the song. In the months that followed we talked about my producing some radio broadcasts from Reflections from the Heart of God. That was followed by Sunbeams Through My Window and then His Footsteps, My Pathway with a CD collection from the last two. Last year I received a signed copy of Meet Me In The Meadow and immediately was inspired by the contents. It was again agreed that a new series of programs would come forth along with a collection CD.And so...it all began with that call in 2004 in direct response to the urging of the Holy Spirit."The HOLY SPIRIT is different from any other voice you will hear.
