Lichen is a musical project created by Patrick Snyder at his home studio in Portland Oregon. His style spans genres from rock, funk, jazz, blues, and metal. For Lichen it is all about the art and love of all music, allowing for creative free flow not bogged down by genre strangling boundaries. If you don't like the first song check out the next, you never know what you'll find. Lichen's songs contain twists and turns that keep the momentum moving from beautiful soundscapes to eerie sonic thunder keeping the listener engaged. This recording is raw and in your face, not over produced creating a more intimate feel that you don't find in a lot of todays music. This is due in large part to a low budget and use of a home studio.
