Farzad Azad started his musical career as a drummer. After a friend gave him a Pink Floyd and a Deep Purple album in 1979, it changed his life and musical tastes for ever. This album is a combination of Gypsy/Flamingo guitar music like no other. This patriotic album also helps bring Purple Heart vets to Maui for an all expense paid vacation. (more info can be found at www.javajazz.net)Mr. Azad can be heard live in his club, Java Jazz on the Westside of Maui. Carlos Santana, who visits Java Jazz regularly says, \"I love this album.\"
