People ask me, 'what comes first, the music or the lyrics?'. The simple truth is that I have no set pattern, and usually no target subject.It may be a word, a phrase, part of a tune: suddenly it's there in my head. The interesting part is seeing how it develops. That depends on my mood, what instrument I'm playing and how the words lead me.Once the rough track is down it will either grow and take a life of its own or fizzle out.I enjoy the process and I sincerely hope that you enjoy the finished product.CheersPeter
