This album is dedicated to Raven A. Fecunda's Sunflowers of Destiny Foundation (RAFSOD) and the Organizers of RAFSOD Foundation (a health-based Sarcoma Cancer foundation). Raven is the catalyst for this gospel album"Godspeed."What a Precious Sunflower! Raven A. Fecunda, has been my inspiration for doing what I have done with this project. God reminds us to remember those before us. Raven's life is a powerful testimony that has given me instructions to move forward. I met Raven after she had been diagnosed with Favor ExtraSkeletal Myxoid Chondrosarcoma.  She still allowed her sun to shine even when there were clouds. She had an attitude of expectancy and believed God for healing, favor, and unexpected sunshine. All of us can take a tip from Raven. Raven lived a very productive life pursuing her degree in Psychology while working part time as an after-school teacher and volunteering with her church. Raven passed in June of 2015, and even though she was only on this earth for 22 years, she has a lasting impact. Raven's life was a seed cultivated in our hearts. There has been a birth and a rebirth in me because of Raven. I believe, as I embark on each new journey of each new day,  joy is coming; healing is coming; a breakthrough is coming. I am learning to thank God for the clouds and for His unexpected shine.  Even when it seems as if clouds aren't going away, and it is easy to get negative or complain, we can all still allow our sun to shine.  Sunflowers are one of the most inspiring flowers in the garden. They can grow as rapidly as Jack's beanstalk from a tiny seed into a tall stalk. Little is more pleasant on a summer's afternoon than watching the large, bright flower heads turn with the sun's passage. Sunflower, do well in so many climates and environments. Each sunflower is unique, some produce plants between 3 and 16 feet tall and flowers in shades of yellow, bronze, orange, red and brown."Weeping may endure for a night, but joy is coming in the morning." Psalms 30:5 reminds me of how morning starts at midnight. At midnight, it is already a new day. I don't wait to thank God when I SEE the sunshine.  I thank God when it is still dark and cloudy. This is what faith is all about.  I have to believe IT and then I'll see IT.  This is the nature of the journey that I am on: it's just a matter of time before things change in my favor.
