Majorfavors cannot be held accountable for individual’s actions in life……..“Welcome 2 MajorFavors Mortuary”, Mismae and Cheeccas’ first solo album puts a crazy twist on traditional hardcore rap. Full of head rock’n, bass knock’n beats produced solely by Cheecca, this is a classic album you do not want to miss! Not only is this a 15 track album, “Welcome 2 MajorFavors Mortuary” is 15 chapters themed solely on their and our road to death. Murder, plots, destruction and greed lurk onto every track with a detailish account of all that is evil. Famed by its title, the topics leave your finger on the replay button, tripp’n, listening again to the stories told so vividly that it puts you right there at the scene. Each track skips no beats when it comes to MajorFavors. The morbid lyrics and dark gangsta beats are perfected by this male/female rap duo. Check out some clips of a few of my favorites such as Track 14, “Hard Livin”, # 7 “Release Me Heat” and definitely don’t miss hearing Track 3 “Devi”. The end of that track will have you tripp’n…thinking, “What language is that…or is that the devil talking?” Coming out of South San Jose, in the Bay Area of Northern Cali, Cheecca and Mismae have been aiming towards their dreams of producing music for more then 10 years. I am convinced listeners will truly enjoy “Welcome 2 MajorFavors Mortuary”. This album is so unique in the sense that all tracks represent the title, and each song was created to keep to the topic at hand. After first hearing the album, I wondered where and why did MajorFavors come up with an idea to market an album about death. So, I did my research, met up with Majorfavors and asked them myself. What I found was that MajorFavors wasn’t only Performers, they were Morticians! Working in San Jose for the mortuary and the cemetery, finding this info out gave me a huge insight on their motive for writing and recording such a dark album. Having a chance to observe the reality of death, the pattern of death, to have to deal with it day in and day out simply proved to MajorFavors even more that they had to do this music before it was too late. You’ll hear all about their love for death on every track off this morbid album that nobody should miss!Mismae and Cheecca’s music is not the only thing they got going that’s tight! The dedication they got for each other is a rare sight to see in this day and age. Knowing each other for 17 years, they hooked up after 2 years of knowing each other and married after 11 years of dating. Their strive to get this, is highly motivated by their 8 year old daughter Cashay, who one day aspires to become a Judge! Strong family ties have kept MajorFavors devoted to this music and each other. Cheecca and Mismae are on the same page when it comes to goals, likes, dislikes and interests. Swearing that greater forces brought them together, they have been tight since their first meeting. You’ll find the MajorFavors family camping, fishing, gambling, partying, chill’n and of course, making music and performing! They have a strong love for anything that involves death, forensics, murder, destruction or greed. Mismae and Cheecca are a unique and adventurous couple that enjoy experiencing new realms of life.
