This project was great fun to create, play, and produce. As you can see from my discography, I've dipped my musical toe into a wide variety of genres, including smooth jazz, jazz, The Great American Songbook, Americana, Folk, Alternative, and Blues. For this project, my goal was to pull together those various styles into a somewhat hybrid style - kind of combining all I've learned from exploring and studying each genre. Whether I did that or now, it's up to the listener to decide as I'm afraid, as the artist, I get too close to the music to be a good judge of it's validity. Still, I feel very happy with the overall outcome. Sure, nothing's ever perfect, but I really do try to do the best with what you have to offer. I hope you'll enjoy listening to this new project half as much as I did creating it.
