Dr. Michael Hoffman has worked primarily in the world of jazz, as aguitarist writing for his own groups and, as a writerof large-ensemble jazz compositions for the New York UniversityConcert Jazz Ensemble, the BMI New York Jazz Orchestra, and theBrooklyn Jazz Composer's Orchestra, and more recently, composing and recording in a wide array of styles in his home studio, performing on numerous instruments.
