There is now much talk about the new generation and how they are the future and have come to save Salsa music. That's all great but hold the phone. The guys who recorded most of the music they learned to perform from are still alive and Kickin. That's right the guy's who recorded the most successful albums back in the day in the 60's,70's,80's until the present are still performing. Los Viejos de la Salsa are a group of musician's with 40 and even 50+ years experience in the business who've come together to bring you 9 swinging new tunes and 3 wonderful cover tunes with all new arrangements. As one reviewer said" This is probably the best salsa CD of 2012". Don't take his word for it. Listen to some tracks and you be the judge. Enjoy!
