Sean Dales is a Vancouver-based musician whose biggest passion in life is songwriting. Drawing influence from timeless artists such as the Beatles and Simon and Garfunkel, as well as newer acts like Blind Pilot and the Black Keys, Sean plays a combination of rock and folk, occasionally teetering on the edge of grunge. Having previously been on SoundCloud, Sean is no stranger to recording and releasing demos, but Child At Heart marks his first foray into well-recorded, well-mixed tracks featuring other musicians, and the difference between this debut album and his previous work is night and day. The musicians playing on this album include Jaelem Bhate on drums, Micki-Lee Smith on violin, Kyle Cardigan on cajon, and George Dean on piano and EBow. The latter also recorded (with assistance from Alec Korchev on one track), mixed and mastered the album, as well as co-producing it with Sean himself.
