Vision Thing was part of the alternative rock era, with a rocking textural sound that was truly before its time and on the cutting edge. Wrapping smart songs in arrangements given to sonic departures and a swirl of guitars and keyboards, all held together by the voice of Lisa Susser, the group made this debut album in 1996. It is now available again for the first time in nearly 20 years. Besides Lisa, the line-up includes Ted Drozdowski (now of Ted Drozdowski's Scissormen) on guitars, Laurie Hoffma on keyboards and backing vocals, Jim Foster on guitars, Scott Sasek on drums and bassist Parrish Heppenstall. A limited number of physical copies—recently discovered and previously thought destroyed—are available.
