Welcome to Mojo Gaucho, which is:Brendan O’Neill: vocals, guitar and keyboards Andrew McNaughtan: guitar and slide guitar Tim Collopy: drums and percussion John Flynn: bassThe first threads of this adventure date back to the late 70’s with teenage friends sharing their first musical endeavours. Years went by, and despite all common sense, the urge to play music never quite went away.Fast forward to New Year’s Day 2010, when Andrew and Brendan were sitting in a back yard noodling about on acoustic guitars. At some point they started out into unknown territory, as you do when you start chasing the muse. After a few exhilarating hours (and the odd drop of Muscat), they decided that writing some tunes together was something that should have happened years before. Roping in ex-Fate Brothers colleagues John Flynn & Tim Collopy, and using the few spare hours available in busy lives, they slowly built a repertoire. Which leads to us to now. The results of them continuing to chase that muse will be presented here for your listening pleasure now and in the near future.
