All of my life there has been music. In those times when I was lost or afraid, music helped me to get through the darkness, feel connected, and hope for a better tomorrow where life wasn't smothering me in false promises, neglectful parents and deviant friendships. Oh yes, I have a colourful, dark history, and not all of the music serenading my past was joyous or even worth remembering; but I do remember. Music is one of the last avenues we have to say whatever we want, to be uncensored, to be crude, to point fingers, to tell the tales that no one wants to tell. I believe that everything in my life has led me to this one moment. Regardless of how much I hurt, or was abused and lied to I want you to know that today I am strong.
