The story of Karma Breakdown began back in 2009 with original members Alex Forbis (guiter/vox), Chris Taylor (drums) and Jay O'Dell (bass). After a whirlwind of local gigs and a number of forays into the recording studio, the band went on hiatus until its reformation by Alex Forbis and new drummer Nick Perona. Together they wrote and produced some of KB's new songs, eventually bringing in Josh Madison to anchor their newfound sound on bass. Though the trio seemed complete, the addition of Lindsay Daley on lead guitar placed a needed capstone on their unique blend of rock and roll. Now in their second full year of existence, Karma Breakdown's sound pays homage to the indie rock era, popularized during their formative years, and is interwoven with each member's unique background."The Truth, The Tragedy, The Forecast" is an album that has been in production for approximately 5 months. Each song was crafted, recorded, mixed, and mastered by Karma Breakdown independently. The members of the band have each placed their own mark on this album, and its unique sound shows the individual influences of each member. This being the first LP, should show the exact prowess and cunning of Karma Breakdown. Hope you enjoy.
