Creating his first official full length album in 2017, Chris Re has an affinity for moving people with his music. He's written many songs previous to this album and will continue to make more songs and great albums. His music is a mixture of alternative rock guitar and vocals with spacey synth and electronic beats. Some of his influences are Chevelle, Pink Floyd, Red and Pearl Jam to name a few. On this album (Through the Current) he has such songs as"Arise", which is the intro song. It's an up beat, up lifting, slightly industrial sounding song. Then there's"No Matter What" a song of upmost optimism and hope."Driven" is a rocking song with driving beat. Then there's"Sammy's Song", (which is a song he wrote for his cousin with empathy for her brother and his cousin Alexander Logan Re after his passing at only 15 years young, pleading with her and encouraging her to carry on in her life despite the difficulties.) To his song"Stay True", which was written for his wife. It's a love song with their son Corbin (just a little over two,who can be heard singing in the background). In the past Chris Re has touched many people with his deep and meaningful lyrics and passion for music. While have played live to recorded studio tracks, Chris took a combination of original style songwriting techniques and has woven together catchy hooks and combined them with melodic undertone, and some cool solo's. You'll be sure to have an experience after listening to his music in a way that only he can deliver it.
