Deanna Dove, the Island Girl's CD entitled"Chesapeake" is an inspiring mix of songs that range from the rock ballad,"Chesapeake," to the pop tune,"Jam Up & Jelly Tight," to the alt-country tune,"Lula J." Deanna is from the tiny peninsula, Broomes Island, located on peaceful Island Creek off the Patuxent River that flows into the mighty Chesapeake Bay in Maryland. Each song tells a story of Deanna's vivid recollections of her life on these beautiful waterways.
