~the~ C.T.M. OrchestraDebut CD: “Chapter One”“What is ~the~ C.T.M. Orchestra?” ~the~ C.T.M. Orchestra is a musical project composed, recorded, played, sequenced, and produced by me, Charles (Chuck) T. Martin. “Chapter One“ is the debut CD for that project. “Chapter One” is a studio, solo, multi-instrumental (multiple MIDI instruments & multitracked guitars) CD of original songs. It is an instrumental CD. “Chapter One” was recorded in my DAW recording studio called The Audio Amusement Park, located in Nashville, TN. ~the~ C.T.M. Orchestra was / is intended to evolve and change over the course of time. ~the~ C.T.M. Orchestra may or may not include vocalists or additional musicians on future recordings. I haven’t decided, we’ll see. “What does ~the~ C.T.M. Orchestra sound like now?” I am primarily a rock guitarist & musician with a jazz, blues, country background and I have audio experience. I have been playing and performing music for 29 years. I play a MIDI keyboard with a variety of MIDI instrument bundles. I appreciate the arts in general. ~the~ C.T.M Orchestra currently sounds like that combination.“Will I like what ~the C.T.M Orchestra sounds like now?” Maybe. There is a good bit of variety on this CD. You may find some things that you like.“Who is saying the song titles before the songs start and why?” I (Chuck) am saying them. While I was the front man for an instrumental jazz band I noticed that audiences appreciated someone telling them what the song title was prior to playing the songs. Heck, I often don’t know or remember the titles of instrumental songs myself. I also think it may add more of a human element to the potentially distant nature of instrumental music and provide a clue(s) to the songs meaning. So, I added a short “title intro” to each song on this CD. I simply say the song title, song begins.Listen and have fun!
