I'm a musician and songwriter from Winnipeg, Canada. I've been playing music live since the age of 14. That's when I joined my first band , playing bass guitar with my brother and two cousins in a band called Low Profile. We played in the southern Manitoba area for over 5 years, based out of the small town of Rosa. As I grew older I decided to expand my musical horizons and practiced and started playing electric guitar and piano/keyboards. Later, I even took it a step further and learned to play the lead instruments - violin, saxophone and even some accordion! I started playing all of these instruments in the bands I was playing with at the time. We played extensively in the Interlake area of Manitoba. At our bands gigs we would always alternate between playing Country and Rock music for the younger people, and then switch to polkas and waltzes to please the older people in the crowd. I would often sing and play bass guitar at the same time, as we covered popular songs by bands such as the Rolling Stones, CCR, and Garth Brooks. It is only recently within the last few years that I have started writing my own music. I would classify my music writing style as mainly in the Rock and Pop music genre, with a hint of Country and Blues. Rock music has always been my favourite music style, idolizing guitar players such as Jimmy Page, Stevie Ray Vaughan, and Eddie Van Halen. However I have always tried to incorporate all the musical instruments I can play into my songs. This is what I think makes me different from so many artists out there, and is very evident in my first album I have just released entitled"Studio 161".
