Best known for portraying the role of Sergeant Jed Heng in his debut movie “Ah Boys To Men” and “Ah Boys To Men II” which grossed millions at the box office in 2012 and 2013 respectively, Singapore-born actor Luke Lee most recently starred in a leading role in his first international commercial for Manchester United, directed by Oscar-nominated Joaquin Baca-Asay and fronted by well-known footballers Wayne Rooney, Robin Van Persie, Ryan Giggs & football legend Sir Bobby Charlton.From the tender age of 4, Luke drew inspiration from Michael Jackson and often danced to his tunes with a fedora hat and by the age of 13, he progressed to performing as a street dancer and a musician in Singapore. He first hosted the 2009 Asian Youth Games when he was 18 and his first brush with acting came about when he earned a lead role in an SPCA dog adoption commercial in 2012 after serving his National Service. Luke has since been a familiar face with lead roles in several local TV shows on MediaCorp such as ‘Unnatural’, ‘On The Edge’, ‘Here’s to Health’ and supporting/ guest roles in ‘Point of Entry’, ‘Rock Republic’, ‘The Private Bengs’, ‘Step Puteri’ (Suria) and ‘Serangoon Road’ on HBO.Apart from local shows, Luke has also appeared on two music videos in the UK, and a main role in the television series ‘Insatiable Teens’ on BBC3 network. In 2014, Luke completed formal training at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School and London Academy of Music & Dramatic Art (LAMDA). One who believes in constant and holistic improvement, Luke currently juggles his craft as an actor/host in the entertainment field whilst pursuing a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) in University of Manchester in the UK. He often travels between Asia and the UK for acting and commercial productions. Luke was last seen honing his acting craft alongside Hong Kong veteran actress Sandra Ng and Singapore’s comedian Mark Lee in the movie “A Fantastic Ghost Wedding”, a Hong Kong-Taiwan-Singapore production directed by Meng Ong which premiered in Singapore on Nov 2014. Luke Lee is officially represented by The Publicist for all publicity matters and entertainment gigs in Singapore. Luke is also co-represented by an established artiste management agency in the UK, David Daly Associates.
