A songwriter/musician, I have been greatly troubled by government, world events, the great divide among humanity, and the lack of popular music addressing the issue. Witnessing people spew their opinions and argue over religious and political topics, most of which they are falsely informed about from biased sources such as the pulpit and the media, has become infuriating, frustrating, and thankfully, inspiring. I decided to put my nose to the grindstone and do what I do best, and wrote a collection of consciousness-raising songs with some thought-provoking lyrics, catchy hooks, and infectious melodies. I have recruited some excellent fellow musicians and formed The Molotov Cocktails. Along with myself, John Rullo, on rhythm guitar and vocals, I am joined by Matthew Rullo on drums, Cocktail Joe Volpe on lead guitar and vocals, and Rich Albertson on bass.Hopefully we will be successful in our goal to plant some seeds and assist in waking up a sleeping society. Recorded at Sabella Studios in Roslyn, NY, the album was brilliantly produced and mixed by the dynamic team of James Sabella and Matt Murphy.
